As a Product Manager at BVNK, you own the product vision, strategy, and delivery for the Reporting & Customer Reconciliation subdomain within BVNK's Ledger domain. The Ledger domain is the financial backbone of BVNK, a single trusted source of truth for all customer and transactional balances. You'll work closely with engineering, design, finance, operations, and commercial teams to define how BVNK's customers and internal teams see, understand, and trust their financial data. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you'll define and deliver product capabilities that give customers full transparency and enable them to reconcile invoices, audit charges programmatically, and automate close processes, while also building the internal reporting foundations that Finance, Reconciliation, and Operations depend on to scale.

What you'll do

  • Own the product vision and roadmap for Reporting & Customer Reconciliation, defining the strategy for how BVNK exposes financial data to customers and internal teams, aligning with the broader Ledger domain mission and company objectives including Billing 2.0, self-serve experience, and MiCA compliance
  • Drive transaction report fee breakdowns by defining requirements and working with engineering to ensure transaction reports and APIs properly include both real-time and invoiced fees, broken down by fee type
  • Build the customer reconciliation product by defining and delivering customer-facing reconciliation endpoints and reporting surfaces that enable enterprise clients to programmatically audit charges, automate close processes, and reconcile against invoices
  • Improve internal financial reporting by partnering with Finance, Reconciliation, and Operations to understand their data needs and deliver standardised reports and views that replace fragmented, manual processes with reliable, automated data pipelines
  • Collaborate across domains including Billing & Fees, Wallets, Balances, Digital Assets, Treasury, and Reconciliation to ensure reporting data is consistent and accurate end-to-end
  • Define reporting for multi-entity and regulatory requirements, ensuring reporting structures correctly represent entity-specific data, segregation requirements, and regulatory obligations such as MiCA safekeeping and EMI reconciliation
  • Own stakeholder relationships as the primary product contact for Reporting & Customer Reconciliation, engaging regularly with Commercial teams, Finance, Operations, and enterprise customers to gather requirements, validate solutions, and communicate roadmap priorities
  • Measure and iterate by defining and tracking KPIs for reporting accuracy, customer adoption of reconciliation tools, reduction in manual reconciliation effort, and internal stakeholder satisfaction, using data to inform roadmap prioritisation and demonstrate impact
  • Ship with quality by writing clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, participating in architecture reviews and technical design submissions, and running beta programmes with select customers and internal teams to validate reporting capabilities before general availability

What you bring

  • 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, payments, or financial services, ideally with exposure to ledger systems, financial reporting, or reconciliation products
  • Deep understanding of financial data and reporting, including experience with transaction data, balance reporting, reconciliation workflows, or invoicing systems, and familiarity with concepts like double-entry bookkeeping, ledger postings, balance snapshots, and fee structures
  • Experience building internal and customer-facing data products such as reporting APIs, dashboards, data exports, or reconciliation tools that serve both external customers and internal operations teams
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills working with engineering, finance, operations, compliance, and commercial teams, with the ability to translate complex financial requirements into clear product specifications and negotiate priorities across stakeholders
  • Data-driven decision making using quantitative and qualitative data to inform roadmap decisions, measure product impact, and communicate outcomes to leadership
  • Technical fluency to engage meaningfully with engineers on API design, data models, event-driven architectures, and database schemas, with comfort using tools such as Snowflake or QuickSight
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment where scope is broad, resources are constrained, and you make pragmatic trade-offs between ideal and achievable solutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear PRD writing, effective stakeholder meetings, and confident presentation of product strategy to senior leadership
  • Remote-first mindset, effectively working across time zones in an asynchronous-first culture using Slack, Confluence, and Jira as primary collaboration tools

Nice to have

  • Experience with regulated financial services such as EMI or VASP, and compliance reporting requirements including MiCA, safeguarding, and client money rules
  • Background in B2B payments platforms, stablecoin infrastructure, or crypto-adjacent products
  • Familiarity with reconciliation platforms such as Duco or Xero, and financial ledger systems
  • Experience working with multi-tenant architectures and entity-level data segregation
  • Understanding of event-driven data pipelines such as Kafka and outbox patterns, and how they impact data consistency in reporting
  • Product experience with self-serve billing or invoicing platforms

What we offer

  • Competitive salary of €90,000-€115,000 EUR (Bulgaria, Spain, Malta, and Poland)
  • Flexible working hours with hybrid working at its core
  • Flexible approach to holiday
  • Opportunities to travel to BVNK offices around the world
