Product Operations Specialist

As a Product Operations Specialist at Ripple, you'll support the 24x7 operations of our crypto and financial solutions, working with teams across Markets, Risk, Treasury, and Legal. Based in Singapore, you'll manage reconciliation, trade support, exception processing, and settlement for Ripple's diverse product offerings, playing a key role in scaling operations for financial institutions worldwide.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams, as well as external customers, to ensure timely settlement of crypto and fiat funds
• Reconcile positions and balances for various business operations, including company-issued stablecoin
• Monitor intraday trading and settlement activity in close partnership with the Ripple Trading and Markets team
• Understand risks and requirements for different asset types, including cryptocurrencies, to ensure quick responses to market activity and exceptions
• Record transactions in systems to maintain accurate bookkeeping entries reflecting product and operational activities within Ripple's systems of record
• Become an expert in finance operational flows by working with key collaborators to detail existing processes
• Identify manual processes that can be automated or streamlined, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

What you bring

• Willingness to work a weekend or holiday shift pattern as required, aligned to a global follow-the-sun model
• Hands-on experience in operations, clearing, and settlement, including reconciliation
• Proven experience monitoring venues and systems in real-time to uncover and resolve exceptions, breaks, and blocking issues
• High attention to detail with the ability to problem-solve and remain organized
• Curiosity and initiative to identify manual processes that can be automated or streamlined
• Experience implementing off-the-shelf and in-house solutions
• Broad understanding of markets and instruments, including cleared, OTC, crypto, and derivatives

Nice to have

• Understanding of accounting principles, such as debits, credits, and balance sheet reconciliation
• Experience with SQL and crafting queries for daily operations
