Public Relations Intern (UK)

YAP Global is an international public relations and communications consultancy working with organisations in the cryptocurrency, decentralised finance (DeFi) and web3 sector. As a Public Relations Intern based in the UK, you will join a collaborative, global team and kick-start your career working on influential technological protocols and standout campaigns. The internship runs for 10 weeks, and on successful completion, based on current business needs, you may be offered a permanent role as an Account Executive. You don't need prior experience in PR or crypto to apply; YAP values hungry, humble people with an appetite to learn and grow.

What you'll do

• Conduct media relations and outreach
• Support day-to-day account delivery
• Create content for clients and campaigns
• Research and draft pitches for features, interviews, op-eds and press releases
• Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
• Monitor and flag relevant news stories to the team
• Research client events and industry conferences
• Take notes in internal meetings

What you bring

• A good degree (or equivalent) in any discipline
• Eagerness to learn and passion for PR and crypto
• Curiosity about blockchain and the wider cryptocurrency space
• Strong writing ability across a range of formats and excellent attention to detail
• A collaborative mindset and readiness to get stuck in from day one
• The right to work in the UK
