Python Blockchain Developer

As a Python Blockchain Developer at MADIFF, you join the engineering team building and scaling a backend platform that interacts with blockchain protocols and high-throughput data pipelines. This is a remote, full-time role where you develop robust services in Python, manage cloud infrastructure, and support data storage and processing across both structured and unstructured datasets.

What you'll do

• Develop scalable and performant backend services using advanced Python, including asyncio and FastAPI
• Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases, primarily MongoDB
• Build, test, and deploy services in Dockerized environments
• Manage version control workflows using Git-based repositories
• Ensure the quality and performance of backend logic in cloud-based deployments
• Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and data engineering teams

What you bring

• Proven, hands-on experience in advanced Python development
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming models, including asyncio and async/await
• Proficiency in Docker containerization and deployment
• Experience with MongoDB and data modeling for NoSQL solutions
• Comfort with Git workflows and team-based version control
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Services such as Azure Functions, Blob Storage, and Networking
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Nice to have

• Understanding of cryptocurrencies and blockchain protocols such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and layer 2 solutions
• Experience building or integrating with smart contracts and decentralised systems
• Experience with TypeScript or Node.js for integration and service orchestration
• Exposure to Apache Spark or Databricks for data processing tasks
