Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant at Coinspaid Solutions, you provide full-cycle accounting and reporting support for an assigned portfolio of 3-4 legal entities within an international group, with potential to expand over time. You coordinate outsourced accounting providers, maintain and review internal records, oversee monthly and annual closing, support audits, and help develop AI-assisted accounting and crypto-accounting processes.

What you'll do

• Provide full-cycle accounting and reporting support for assigned legal entities.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external bookkeepers, accounting firms, auditors, banks, corporate service providers and other relevant parties.
• Ensure timely exchange of accounting data, bank statements, invoices, agreements, corporate documents and other supporting information.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing and ensure external accounting providers submit complete and accurate reports within agreed deadlines.
• Review monthly reporting packages, including trial balance, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, general ledger and supporting schedules.
• Perform bank, crypto, HLB, intercompany, AP, AR and other balance-sheet reconciliations during onboarding and process-learning stages.
• Progress to reviewing and approving reconciliations prepared by other team members, including crypto-wallet and related account reconciliations.
• Ensure accounting records are complete, accurate, properly documented and audit-ready.
• Coordinate and support statutory and group audits for assigned entities, including preparation of schedules, supporting documents, reconciliations and responses to auditor requests.
• Support automation of accounting processes, including data imports, transaction classification, reconciliations, reporting and financial controls.
• Document completed solutions and support their implementation across the Group's crypto entities.
• Act as a backup for the manager during periods of absence when required.

What you bring

• Relevant education in accounting, finance, economics or a related field.
• Experience with full-cycle accounting, month-end and year-end closing.
• Ability to review trial balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, general ledger and journal entries.
• Strong experience with bank, balance-sheet, AP, AR and intercompany reconciliations.
• Ability to establish accounting processes from the ground up and restore incomplete accounting records.
• Experience coordinating outsourced accounting providers and external auditors.
• Good understanding of accounting documentation, internal controls and audit requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage several legal entities, prioritise tasks and meet reporting deadlines.
• Willingness to learn crypto accounting and use AI-assisted accounting and automation tools.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in crypto, fintech, digital assets, payments or blockchain-related companies.
• Experience reconciling crypto wallets, exchanges, payment providers and accounting ledgers.
• Experience with QuickBooks, 1C or similar accounting systems.
• Experience using AI tools for accounting analysis, transaction classification, reconciliations or financial reporting.
• Experience working with multiple legal entities and jurisdictions.
• Experience with statutory or group audits.
• Experience with intercompany loans, interest calculations and foreign-currency accounting.
