(Senior) Associate - Private Markets

As an Associate in Private Markets at OFFX, you join a platform connecting holders who want liquidity with investors who want access to private markets. Reporting to our CEO and Managing Director, your core job is bringing buyers and sellers to OFFX, growing our active user base, and turning conversations into closed transactions. You'll work live buy and sell orders from our order book, build an investor base for OFFX Access SPVs, and execute transactions end to end, from pricing and onboarding through settlement.

What you'll do

• Work the order book to close: take ownership of live buy and sell orders, find matching counterparties through your network and OFFX Brain, and drive each opportunity to signed and settled
• Sell and grow the platform by prospecting, onboarding and activating new investors and sellers including employee shareholders, angels, funds, family offices, syndicate leads and GPs, with targets for new users, active users and transaction volume
• Fill OFFX Access vehicles by building a repeat investor base for SPVs, running placements, and closing commitments alongside anchor investors
• Execute transactions end to end: manage pricing discussions, onboarding, documentation, transfer restrictions and issuer processes, closing and settlement, working with legal and settlement partners
• Build OFFX Access by helping standardise how you structure, launch and distribute SPVs, with the goal of a regular cadence of new vehicles
• Keep the market current by owning the quality of OFFX's order book and pricing data, and sharing market colour with clients and the team

What you bring

• 2-5 years in a sales-driven front-office role in private capital markets, private market secondaries, institutional sales, placement, investment sales, SPV or syndicate platforms, or brokerage
• A track record of bringing in or closing business, with comfort prospecting and picking up the phone
• A network of active buyers and sellers in private markets you can activate from day one
• Hands-on transaction experience with SPAs, ROFRs, SPV subscriptions or forwards in practice
• Comfort working with CRM, data and AI tooling to build pipeline systematically
• Precision in execution, resilience, and the ability to work in a fast-moving startup
• Fluent English
