Senior Backend Engineer (TypeScript/Node) — Remote

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Morpho, you own and advance the consumer-facing APIs and data pipelines that power the platform. You design scalable REST/GraphQL interfaces, optimize PostgreSQL workloads, and collaborate with frontend teams to deliver high-quality features in a fast-changing DeFi environment.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain scalable REST and GraphQL APIs for consumer-facing products
• Optimize PostgreSQL workloads for reliable, low-latency data delivery
• Build and manage data pipelines that support the platform's core operations
• Collaborate with frontend teams to ship features and iterate based on user feedback
• Take ownership of backend systems and drive improvements to reliability and performance

What you bring

• Strong experience building backend systems in TypeScript and Node.js
• Proven ability to design and maintain scalable APIs at production scale
• Deep experience optimizing relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Demonstrated ability to work asynchronously and communicate clearly in distributed teams
