Senior DAML Engineer

As a Senior Digital Assets / Techno-Functional Lead at Gazelle, you bring hands-on technical expertise in banking and financial services to lead digital assets and securities settlement initiatives. You will design, develop, and deliver solutions using Canton, DAML, and/or Hyperledger, with a focus on Delivery versus Payment (DvP) and post-trade processes.

What you'll do

• Provide hands-on technical leadership across digital assets and distributed ledger technology initiatives
• Design, develop, and deliver solutions using Canton, DAML, and/or Hyperledger
• Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Support solutions involving securities settlement, Delivery versus Payment (DvP), and post-trade processes
• Provide technical direction and guidance to a small development team while remaining hands-on
• Contribute to solution architecture and technical design
• Act as the bridge between functional and business requirements and technical delivery

What you bring

• Strong banking or financial services experience (essential)
• Proven hands-on development experience with Canton, DAML, and/or Hyperledger
• A strong understanding of Delivery versus Payment (DvP) and securities settlement
• Experience with digital assets, blockchain, or distributed ledger technologies
• Previous experience operating at Senior Developer, Technical Lead, or Architect level
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on

Nice to have

• Experience with both Canton/DAML and Hyperledger
• Strong understanding of custody, securities services, settlement, or post-trade operations
• Background in custody or securities settlement with strong digital assets or DLT technical experience
