- Establish appropriate reconciliation controls and monitoring mechanisms to ensure completeness and accuracy of digital asset balances and movements.
- Own and oversee fiat reconciliation across customer balances, banking and custodian records, payment channels, internal operational systems, and the general ledger.
- Ensure customer fiat assets and liabilities can be reconciled to relevant operational and accounting records.
- Investigate reconciliation breaks and coordinate with Finance, Fiat Operations, Product, Engineering, banks, custodians, and payment service providers for resolution.

- Support Finance and external audit requirements by ensuring transaction data and reconciliation evidence are complete, accurate, and traceable.
- Partner closely with Finance to ensure settlement data and reports provide sufficient information for accurate and timely accounting.
- Define operational reports and data outputs required by Finance for accounting entries, period-end closing, balance sheet reconciliation, customer asset and liability reconciliation, and financial and external audit support.
- Identify gaps between operational systems and accounting requirements and work with relevant teams to develop scalable solutions.
- Build and maintain robust settlement and reconciliation SOPs, controls, and governance frameworks.
- Drive automation and process improvements to improve settlement efficiency, accuracy, scalability, and control.
- Establish key operational metrics and monitor settlement exceptions, reconciliation breaks, aging items, and resolution timelines.
- Manage and develop the settlement team, ensuring clear ownership, effective prioritization, and strong execution.
