Senior Manager, RWA OTC Desk Operations

As Senior Manager of RWA OTC Desk Operations at Hashkey Group, you will drive market expansion and then manage platform operations for an institutional-grade RFQ matching and DVP settlement platform for tokenized real-world assets. You join the founding team, taking this business from 0 to 1.

What you'll do

Phase 1: Pre-launch (upon onboarding - Q3) - 70% business development

• Partner with the business lead to engage major market makers such as Wintermute, GSR, and Amber Group - drive market-making negotiations and API technical integration
• Reach out to external RWA issuers such as Ondo Finance, Securitize, and Circle - push forward asset registration and listing partnerships
• Identify and approach potential buy-side institutional clients including exchange treasuries, DeFi protocols, and hedge funds - build initial client pipeline
• Gather client feedback through business development activities to inform product and operational priorities
• Prepare and follow up on commercial proposals, term negotiations, and MOU signing
• Handle daily business development follow-ups and maintain client relationships
• Review product design from a trading operations perspective - assess trade flow logic, settlement logic soundness, and sufficiency of reporting and reconciliation features
• Attend product review meetings and propose improvements based on hands-on experience
• Help define API requirements for market makers

Phase 2: Post-launch (from Q4 onward) - business development and operations

• Continuously onboard new market makers, issuers, and buy-side clients
• Maintain existing partnerships and drive trading volume growth
• Attend industry conferences such as Token2049 and Web3 Festival
• Monitor market maker quote quality - track spreads, response times, and conduct monthly reconciliation and commission settlement
• Manage client onboarding - process whitelist address applications, omnibus address registration, and access testing
• Monitor trades for DVP settlement status and anomaly detection
• Support compliance - compile monthly trading data and submit reports to the compliance team

What you bring

• 3-5 years of experience in crypto OTC, digital asset trading platforms, or broker-dealer trading operations
• A solid understanding of the full OTC trade lifecycle: inquiry, quote, execution, settlement, and reconciliation
• Proven business development or client management experience, with the ability to independently communicate and drive partnerships
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) - daily working language includes English and Chinese
• Genuine interest and knowledge of the Web3 and crypto industry
• A self-starter mentality who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment

Nice to have

• Prior experience at a crypto OTC desk such as Amber, Matrixport, Galaxy, Genesis, or Cumberland
• Understanding of RFQ trading models and market maker business logic
• Experience with fixed income, RWA, or tokenized assets
• Familiarity with SFC licensed entity compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with on-chain tools including wallets, blockchain explorers, and DeFi protocols
