Trust and Safety Program Manager

As the Trust and Safety Program Manager at Polymarket, you own end-to-end programs that protect the platform and keep users safe across both the CFTC-regulated exchange and the DeFi platform. Reporting to the Global Head of Trust and Safety, you will manage launch readiness for new products, markets and jurisdictions, turn regulatory obligations into controls and evidence, design user protections, lead incident response, and set how each program runs in partnership with Product, Engineering, Legal and Compliance.

What you'll do

• Own launch readiness for new products, markets and jurisdictions on the exchange and DeFi: tier every launch, run the go or no-go decision, and secure written sign-off from Legal, Compliance and Trust and Safety before each major launch
• Turn regulatory obligations and commitments into controls, procedures and evidence, and maintain records ready for any regulator inquiry or exam
• Bring risk review and user protection requirements into each launch from the first spec, including what the launch can and cannot claim publicly
• Launch and monitor user protections such as self-exclusion, deposit limits, behavioral monitoring and trusted-contact tools, and drive them from scoping to adoption
• Run DeFi restriction programs, including self-certification and close-only modes, from flag to enforcement
• Lead the program side of Trust and Safety incidents and build and drill the crisis playbook with Compliance, Customer Experience, Legal and Communications
• Take partners and vendors from pilot to contract, with a success measure agreed before each pilot starts
• Own the metrics and cadence: quarterly goals, the weekly Trust and Safety update and business reviews
• Build and run Trust and Safety's intake process for partner teams

What you bring

• 6+ years in program or technical program management, including 3+ years in trust and safety, risk, integrity, responsible gaming, fraud or compliance at a regulated platform
• Experience running a launch risk-review process that product teams used, with launches you stopped or changed
• Experience leading or running the program side of a live incident with user harm or regulatory exposure
• Experience preparing evidence for a regulator, auditor or exam, and turning a regulatory obligation into a control or procedure
• Experience building a program at a company that had none
• Experience taking a vendor or partner from pilot to contract
• Ability to pull and reconcile your own data using SQL or equivalent
• Ability to write short, dated decision documents with an owner on every line
• Comfort working as the only program person in the function

Nice to have

• CFTC, NFA or exchange experience
• Responsible gaming programs or player protection experience
• Crypto, DeFi or on-chain compliance background
