Senior Product Designer, Core

As a Senior Product Designer on the Core team at OKX, you own the foundational journeys that define a user's relationship with the platform: account management, identity verification, moving and securing funds, and the compliance and support experiences around them. You also design the internal enterprise tools that support agents, product managers, and operations teams depend on daily. These are among the most consequential surfaces in the product, determining whether users feel confident to trade, whether they trust OKX with their assets and data, and whether internal teams can resolve issues quickly. AI is central to how Core works: you'll design AI-powered support and assistant experiences for millions of users, and you'll work as an AI-native team, using AI to move faster and raise the quality of what you ship.

What you'll do

• Own complex, high-stakes journeys end to end across account, assets, compliance, or support, taking them from problem definition to shipped, polished execution.
• Design AI-powered experiences, from customer-facing assistant and support flows to AI-native internal tools, thinking through how people and AI work together, and where trust, transparency, and control matter most.
• Partner with product, engineering, legal, compliance, and risk to define the real problem, then design solutions that balance regulatory and security requirements with a genuinely good user experience.
• Produce the full range of design artifacts as needed: user flows, journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes, backed by evaluative research.
• Work in an AI-native way, using AI to accelerate exploration, prototyping, and decision-making, and help raise the bar for how the team designs.
• Shape the design vision for your area alongside UX Research, UX Writing, and product leadership, and influence the roadmap early rather than delivering to it.
• Raise the quality bar through design reviews, critique, and workshops, and bring rigor to ambiguous, high-consequence problems.

What you bring

• Deep design craft with a sharp eye for detail, and up-to-date knowledge of your field. You analyze problems methodically and turn them into simple, effective solutions you can execute end to end.
• Judgment in ambiguity: you cut to the root of a problem, make sound calls even with incomplete information, and find the optimal path rather than the obvious one.
• Business and product sense. You understand how the business works and where it's heading, and you connect design decisions to strategy, metrics, and real outcomes.
• Communication with clarity and precision. You build genuine trust with product, engineering, legal, and compliance, and give and seek feedback that raises the whole team's work.
• Drive and curiosity. You ask why before you design, stay resilient when problems are hard, and keep pushing your craft and ideas forward.
• Genuine fluency and enthusiasm for AI. You already use AI tools in your own work, and you're excited to design AI-driven experiences.
• Experience designing complex, multi-step flows, ideally in fintech, crypto, or another regulated or high-trust domain.
• 3+ years of experience shipping end-to-end design solutions in cross-functional teams at a tech company.

Nice to have

• Experience designing AI or conversational interfaces, or a track record of using AI to change how you work as a designer.
• Interest in designing complex internal tools and operational workflows, not just customer-facing surfaces.
• Exposure to data-informed design. You're comfortable interpreting user insights, behavioral data, or A/B test results.
• Familiarity with design systems and the ability to scale consistency across platforms.
• Prototyping skills to bring ideas to life and communicate transitions or microinteractions.
• Experience working across time zones with distributed teams.
• A degree in design, HCI, or a related field.
