Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at Confidentiel, you design, build, and enhance critical internal tools that power trading operations. Your work spans token vesting platforms, treasury and asset tracking, multi-platform API integrations with exchanges and custodians, rapid development of portals and dashboards for the quantitative Fund-of-Funds business, node and validator operations, and an internally built smart-contract-based multisender.

What you'll do

• Develop, maintain, and enhance the internal token vesting platform, managing vesting schedules, cliffs, multi-token support, claim portals, audit trails, and reporting.
• Integrate token vesting with smart contracts, multisigs, and treasury systems for secure distributions.
• Design, develop, and maintain an internally built smart-contract-based multisender for efficient, secure batch token transfers, handling gas optimization, batching logic, multi-token support, access controls, auditability, and integration with internal treasury workflows.
• Ensure robust security practices, testing, and upgradeability considerations for smart-contract systems.
• Build and evolve the asset tracker and treasury management tool that aggregates crypto balances across wallets, exchanges, and custodians into a unified, real-time or near-real-time balance sheet.
• Implement reconciliation, historical tracking, valuation, exposure reporting, and alerting for asset tracking.
• Design and implement robust API integrations with major exchanges and institutional custodians such as Fireblocks, Coinbase, Anchorage, and others, handling authentication, rate limits, webhooks, data normalization, and reliable data pipelines.
• Rapidly develop internal portals and dashboards for the business covering performance, risk, allocation, and operational metrics.
• Create monitoring and management dashboards for node and validator operations, tracking uptime, rewards, performance, and risk indicators.
• Deliver polished, usable internal tools with clean UX and role-based access.
• Architect scalable, secure solutions and own technical decisions across all tools.
• Collaborate closely with treasury, finance, quant, operations, and security teams.
• Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, documentation, monitoring, and security, especially around keys, credentials, and smart contracts.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.

What you bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of software development experience, with significant time building production systems involving financial data, APIs, or crypto and blockchain.
• A proven track record shipping internal tools, dashboards, or operational platforms under tight timelines.
• Hands-on experience with smart contracts (Solidity preferred) and on-chain tooling, including batch and multisend patterns.
• Strong full-stack capabilities: TypeScript or JavaScript, React or Next.js or similar frontend frameworks, Node.js, Python, or Go for backend, and solid database and infrastructure knowledge.
• Solid smart-contract development experience with Solidity, Hardhat or Foundry, testing, gas optimization, and security best practices.
• Deep experience integrating third-party APIs, especially exchange and custody APIs, and building data aggregation and reconciliation systems.
• Familiarity with blockchain libraries such as ethers.js, viem, or web3.js, custody and MPC platforms such as Fireblocks, and wallet infrastructure.
• A strong security mindset for handling credentials, private keys, secrets, and financial and smart-contract systems.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Fireblocks, Coinbase Prime or Custody, Anchorage, or similar platforms.
• Experience building or maintaining multisender or batch transfer contracts or similar operational smart-contract utilities.
• Exposure to quantitative finance, fund operations, or node and validator infrastructure.
• Knowledge of digital asset accounting and treasury workflows.
