Senior Technical Recruiter, EMEA

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at Blockstream, you drive full-cycle recruitment across multiple countries in the EMEA region. You partner closely with the Head of HR EMEA and the global HR team to attract and retain exceptional talent across technical and business functions, owning the end-to-end recruiting lifecycle while delivering a best-in-class candidate experience and influencing hiring strategy across the region.

What you'll do

• Operate as a strategic talent partner, owning hiring outcomes across EMEA and contributing meaningfully to how Blockstream scales
• Lead full-cycle recruitment across EMEA, covering highly technical and business-critical roles
• Build, nurture, and activate strong talent pipelines through thoughtful, proactive sourcing strategies
• Partner closely with hiring managers and senior leadership to clarify role scope, define hiring criteria, and align on long-term talent strategy
• Deliver high-quality, well-calibrated candidate shortlists that balance speed, rigor, and mission alignment
• Drive a best-in-class candidate experience from first outreach through offer acceptance and onboarding
• Guide and educate hiring managers on structured interviewing, market intelligence, and objective evaluation practices
• Own recruiting performance metrics (time-to-hire, pipeline health, conversion rates, quality-of-hire) and use data to continuously refine your approach
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives and strengthen Blockstream's visibility within key talent communities
• Identify and implement process improvements that increase consistency, efficiency, and quality across the EMEA recruitment lifecycle

What you bring

• 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience in high-growth, international technology environments
• Experience hiring in regulated industries such as software development, financial services, crypto, or fintech
• Experience supporting high-growth or scale-up environments
• Demonstrated success hiring complex technical profiles (engineering, infrastructure, security) across multiple EMEA jurisdictions
• Proven ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders with credibility and confidence
• Strong sourcing depth; you build and nurture pipelines proactively rather than relying on inbound applicants
• Experience managing cross-border hiring complexities within EMEA
• A data-driven approach to recruiting, with a clear understanding of hiring velocity, pipeline health, and quality-of-hire metrics
• Comfort operating autonomously in a distributed, remote-first organization
• Fluency in English; additional professional proficiency in German, French, Italian, Spanish, or another EMEA language is strongly preferred
• A Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or a related field

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Ashby or similar ATS systems and recruitment automation tools
• Strong employer branding and talent marketing experience
• General HR experience to support broader HR initiatives during periods of lower recruitment demand
