As Team Coordinator at Nascent, you'll be the operational backbone of a high-output trading team. You own a wide surface area: recruiting and onboarding, special projects without a playbook, and whatever else keeps a fast-moving firm firing on all cylinders. You'll use AI-native tools and workflows to move at a pace otherwise impossible, partner directly with senior leaders, and serve as connective tissue between people, projects, and priorities. This is a genuine foot-in-the-door role for someone wanting a breakthrough career in finance inside a tech-forward firm, with real visibility, real ownership, and a steep learning curve.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end coordination of recruiting efforts on the operations side, including sourcing, scheduling, candidate communication, pipeline tracking, and hiring manager support.
  • Drive special projects from ambiguous ask to completed deliverable by scoping requirements, building lightweight project plans, coordinating across stakeholders, and closing loops.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and enabler for your team lead, anticipating needs, clearing blockers, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Use AI tools daily to accelerate your own output: drafting communications, summarizing research, building templates, automating repetitive workflows, and managing high volumes of work.
  • Create and maintain operational documentation, trackers, and lightweight systems that bring order to a fast-changing environment.
  • Coordinate across teams and functions to keep information flowing, deadlines visible, and stakeholders aligned, especially when priorities shift quickly.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and build trust as a reliable, people-first operator across the organization.

What you bring

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in operations, project management, chief of staff, or a generalist role at a fast-moving startup or high-output organization.
  • You are a doer first: you get energy from checking things off, moving fast, and making the people around you more effective.
  • You are deeply people-oriented and customer-centric, seeing your team leads and colleagues as your customers and taking pride in serving them well.
  • You have high ambiguity tolerance: you don't need a detailed brief to get started and you're comfortable figuring things out as you go.
  • You are AI-first in how you work, reaching for AI tools instinctively to draft, research, organize, and move faster as an integrated part of how you operate.
  • You are highly organized and adaptive, holding many threads simultaneously and reprioritizing without losing momentum when the ground shifts.
  • You are a fast learner genuinely curious about finance, markets, and how trading firms operate, even if you don't come from that world yet.
  • You are scrappy and resourceful, having thrived in environments where the playbook didn't exist and you had to build it yourself.
  • You build strong working relationships quickly and communicate with clarity, warmth, and follow-through.
  • You have demonstrated track record of managing multiple concurrent workstreams across stakeholders without dropping balls.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize ambiguity into clear action items and documentation.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on, daily use of AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to accelerate real work, integrated into how you operate beyond experimentation.
  • Experience supporting recruiting processes: sourcing, scheduling, pipeline coordination, or candidate communication.

What we offer

  • The opportunity to learn, experiment, and build in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Competitive total compensation with strong bonus upside tied to performance.
  • Hardware and home-office stipend, conference and learning budgets.
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus life insurance.
  • Open vacation policy with flexible work hours and location.
  • 16 weeks fully-paid parental leave plus supported return to work.
  • Retirement matching.
