This role demands someone who thrives in ambiguous situations, surfaces blockers before they escalate, and helps teams move faster without compromising quality.
What you'll do
- Work with the Director of SRE and regional SRE managers to own end-to-end planning, tracking, and delivery of programs across the team.
- Define and maintain program roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics.
- Run efficient rituals including standups, reviews, and retrospectives that drive measurable progress.
- Proactively surface risks and drive mitigation plans before issues escalate.
- Manage the roadmap of Plume's global infrastructure, data platforms, and observability stack.
- Work with SRE team leads to plan, estimate, prioritize, and execute work across all four domains.
- Work collaboratively with other Technical Program Managers across the organization to align quarterly plans and priorities.
- Solicit feedback from peers and other engineering organizations to drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with engineering teams to track and accelerate initiatives that improve CI/CD pipelines, release velocity, and deployment reliability.
- Champion automation-first thinking across the software development lifecycle, from testing and build pipelines to monitoring and incident response.
- Measure and report on pipeline health, lead time, and deployment frequency.
- Serve as a point of coordination across engineering, product, SRE, and leadership stakeholders.
- Build strong working relationships across time zones and disciplines; get alignment without becoming the bottleneck.
- Communicate program status clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, with a track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs.
- Deep Jira expertise, including project configuration, custom workflows, dashboards, and advanced JQL querying, with the ability to leverage Jira data such as velocity trends, cycle time, and sprint burndown to drive decisions and proactively identify risks like scope creep.
- Proven experience driving end-to-end Agile delivery for technical programs, including facilitating sprint planning with capacity planning, backlog refinement, and story estimation, as well as daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives that translate into measurable improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt messaging appropriately for different audiences, from senior executives to technical stakeholders such as staff engineers.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex initiatives, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and consistently deliver outcomes within defined timelines.

- Familiarity with Agile and scaled Agile frameworks.
- Background working across globally distributed teams.
- Strong grasp of CI/CD concepts, SRE practices, and the software development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience managing SRE initiatives in previous roles.
