Technical Team Lead (Ref: Software Team)

As a Technical Team Lead at CryptoBLK, you conduct and coordinate engineering work while leading and inspiring team members to drive constant improvement in engineering and quality practices. You develop strategic plans for technical software development, establish the business's technical vision, and guide other engineers. CryptoBLK is a blockchain technology start-up established in 2017 with offices in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China, delivering DLT solutions across trade finance, supply chain and logistics, insurance technology, central bank-issued digital currency, payment and settlement, and crypto-tokens.

What you'll do

• Conduct and coordinate engineering work across the team
• Lead and inspire team members for constant improvement in engineering and quality practices
• Develop strategic plans for technical software development and establish the business's technical vision
• Create, implement, and evaluate best practice engineering strategies to improve business performance in line with business objectives
• Provide technical guidance to other engineers
• Stay abreast of leading and cutting-edge technologies

What you bring

• An undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline
• 10-15 years of working experience in IT at the managerial level, overseeing projects
• Knowledge of blockchain technology
• Experience in one or several blockchain technologies such as Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, or Corda
• Capability to analyse information and drive great decision-making
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, with strong communication skills

Nice to have

• Knowledge of smart contracts, cryptocurrencies, and cryptography
