Trader, Market Making

As a Trader on Blockchain's Market Making desk in London, you'll run, analyse and improve automated liquidity strategies while working closely with clients to enhance the desk's enterprise value. You sit at the intersection of trading, quantitative research and business development, blending strong communication with hands-on coding in Python, Rust and SQL.

What you'll do

• Work with experienced traders to manage risk and ideate trading strategies across DeFi, market making and yield strategies
• Configure and tune strategy parameters in response to changing market conditions while developing world-class market-making strategies
• Work closely with trading and sales to drive commercials, source new clients, interact with existing clients and provide ideas for business growth
• Enhance the enterprise value of the desk by building infrastructure and developing initiatives that benefit your clients

What you bring

• 2-5 years of experience in market making, quantitative trading, electronic trading or working for an institutional desk (crypto preferred)
• Strong understanding of financial markets, DeFi, algorithmic trading and crypto TGEs and listing structures
• Proficiency in Python, Rust, AI tooling and/or SQL
• A commercially aware mindset suited to a fast-paced, intense environment
