Web3 Capital & Portfolio Specialist

As a Web3 Capital & Portfolio Specialist at ShortFin Capital Management, you support and execute the firm's Web3 and digital asset investment initiatives. You source and evaluate Web3 projects and tokens, perform fundamental and quantitative analysis, and prepare investment memos and recommendations. You monitor portfolio performance, track market developments across blockchain ecosystems, and help optimize capital deployment and risk management.

What you'll do

• Source and evaluate Web3 projects and tokens with fundamental and quantitative analysis
• Prepare investment memos and recommendations for leadership review
• Monitor portfolio performance and track market developments across blockchain ecosystems
• Coordinate with leadership on pipeline opportunities and manage project documentation
• Maintain portfolio and performance dashboards and communicate portfolio status and strategy
• Contribute to internal research and refine methodologies for Web3 portfolio construction
• Support program and project management across the firm's tactical opportunities

What you bring

• Strong analytical skills to evaluate Web3 projects, digital assets, and portfolio performance
• Project portfolio management experience, including tracking initiatives, prioritizing opportunities, and coordinating execution
• Clear and effective communication skills for presenting analyses, writing investment memos, and collaborating with stakeholders
• Program management skills to support the structuring, governance, and execution of Web3 and tactical opportunity initiatives
• Solid finance knowledge, including understanding of investment principles, risk and return metrics, and portfolio construction
• Demonstrated experience or strong interest in Web3, blockchain technologies, and digital asset markets
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and analytical tools
• High ethical standards, sound judgment, and commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive collaboration

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data dashboards, on-chain analytics platforms, or coding such as Python

What we offer

• Salary range of €85,000-€110,000 EUR gross per year, depending on experience, investment expertise, and digital asset knowledge
• Fully remote role
