Account Executive, Commercial

As an Account Executive, Commercial at Alchemy, you will push the blockchain industry forward by helping developers and companies accelerate their product development on our Web3 infrastructure platform. You own the entire sales process, from prospecting through contract negotiation, client retention, and upsells. You partner with teammates across the company, including leadership and our founders, in an early-stage startup environment built on infrastructure powering billions of transactions.

What you'll do

• Own the entire sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, negotiating and closing contracts, managing renewals and upsells, and ensuring client satisfaction
• Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and explain how Alchemy's infrastructure solves them
• Reach out to new leads via various communication channels to generate introductory calls
• Educate cryptocurrency companies about blockchain nodes and how to troubleshoot infrastructure issues
• Track, analyze, and improve campaigns and sales processes
• Collaborate across internal business and technology teams to drive desired business outcomes for customers
• Develop long-term, trustworthy strategic relationships with senior-level executives and technical stakeholders
• Create and articulate compelling value propositions for our platform
• Own, manage, and report using a CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and relevant metrics are tracked
• Provide customer feedback to product and engineering teams to inform product development
• Work with support and communicate with customers both pre- and post-sales
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and respond quickly to customer inquiries
• Refine and establish processes to support the business's evolving needs

What you bring

• 4+ years of quota-carrying experience in a client-facing Account Executive role selling SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS offerings to enterprise and C-level stakeholders
• Demonstrated success in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale technology projects to complex enterprise accounts
• Knowledge and passion for the crypto and blockchain industry
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Proficiency using CRM software, forecasting, and opportunity management
• Experience driving technology adoption and creating long-term transformational account strategies
• Ability to operate independently and proactively source and progress new business
• Capability to understand customer pain points and correlate potential business to value delivered by technical services
• Self-starter attitude and ability to execute new ideas with autonomy
• Ability to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently
• Ability to be in office in San Francisco or New York 3 days per week
