Blockchain Developer

As a Blockchain Developer at Lootrushs, you design, implement, and maintain blockchain-based solutions including smart contracts, decentralized applications, and system integrations. You collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements, write secure and efficient back-end code, and implement cryptographic protocols across client projects and proprietary technology that combines decentralized finance with real-world real estate investment.

What you'll do

• Design and implement smart contracts, decentralized applications, and blockchain integrations with existing systems
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements and architecture
• Write secure and efficient back-end code and implement cryptographic protocols
• Test, document, and deploy blockchain components to production
• Troubleshoot issues in production environments and contribute to performance optimization and scalability
• Stay current with emerging Web3 technologies and best practices to guide technical decisions

What you bring

• Strong blockchain and cryptocurrency skills, including experience with major protocols, smart contract platforms, and token standards
• Solid back-end web development experience and proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, Go, Python, or Solidity
• Applied knowledge of cryptography, including public-key cryptography, hashing, digital signatures, and secure key management
• Experience building, testing, and deploying decentralized applications and smart contracts with familiarity in tools such as Hardhat or Truffle
• Understanding of Web3 architectures, DeFi concepts, and on-chain/off-chain integration patterns including APIs, SDKs, and oracles
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code, follow secure coding practices, and contribute to code reviews and technical documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams on-site

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
• Prior work on open-source blockchain projects or contributions to Web3 communities
