Blockchain Developer

As a Blockchain Developer at Wavereco Consulting LLP, you will join the technology team to work on a crypto exchange project. You'll design, develop, and maintain blockchain-based applications and exchange features, with hands-on experience in smart contracts, crypto wallets, APIs, and blockchain integrations.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain blockchain-based applications and exchange features.
• Develop and integrate smart contracts using Solidity and EVM-compatible blockchains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon.
• Develop and integrate crypto wallets for deposits and withdrawals.
• Integrate blockchain nodes, RPC providers, Web3 APIs, and third-party blockchain services.
• Implement blockchain transaction monitoring and processing.
• Develop APIs connecting the exchange platform with blockchain networks and backend systems.
• Ensure secure handling of wallets, transactions, private keys, and blockchain data.
• Test, deploy, debug, and maintain smart contracts.
• Troubleshoot failed, pending, or delayed blockchain transactions.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
• Optimize blockchain solutions for security, scalability, and performance.

What you bring

• 2-5 years of experience in blockchain development.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain architecture and Web3.
• Hands-on experience with Solidity and smart contract development.
• Experience with Ethereum and EVM-based blockchains.
• Knowledge of Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar libraries.
• Strong knowledge of Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with REST APIs and blockchain integrations.
• Understanding of crypto wallets, tokens, transactions, and blockchain explorers.
• Knowledge of ERC-20, ERC-721, and ERC-1155 token standards.
• Understanding of smart contract security and common vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Git, databases, APIs, and cloud environments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant blockchain development experience).

Nice to have

• Experience working on a crypto exchange, trading platform, wallet, DeFi, or Web3 project.
• Knowledge of CEX architecture, order books, trading APIs, liquidity integration, and settlement.
• Experience with crypto exchange APIs.
• Knowledge of blockchain node setup and management.
• Experience with Docker and AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of KYC/AML technical integrations.
