Blockchain Engineer

As a Blockchain Engineer at BeGiG, you build secure, efficient, production-ready on-chain infrastructure. You design and deploy smart contracts that power token economies, Web3 gaming platforms, and decentralized applications, turning complex economic models into reliable, audited code. This contract role sits at the intersection of engineering and strategy, ensuring the ecosystems you build for clients rest on battle-tested foundations.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains
• Write secure, gas-optimized Solidity code following industry best practices and established security patterns
• Partner with tokenomics advisors to translate economic models directly into smart contract logic
• Build and maintain full-stack decentralized applications (DApps), from architecture through deployment
• Conduct rigorous testing and security auditing of smart contracts to ensure reliability
• Integrate blockchain components with front-end applications and back-end services
• Participate in code reviews and help shape engineering best practices across the team
• Stay current with evolving blockchain tools, standards, and emerging security vulnerabilities
• Translate client requirements into clear technical specifications and implementation plans

What you bring

• 7 years of blockchain engineering experience
• 6 years of Web3 experience
• 6 years of Ethers.js experience
