Technical Lead (Blockchain Project)

As a Technical Lead at KBG Blockchain Game Studios, you will lead the engineering team in designing and developing applications for the blockchain game ecosystem. You own the technical leadership of building RUNNOW, a lifestyle super-app, ensuring a stable and scalable platform while mentoring talented developers to ship high-quality games and blockchain products globally.

What you'll do

• Lead the engineering team and perform technical oversight of platform development for the blockchain game ecosystem
• Review product documents and propose technical solutions aligned with business requirements
• Review team members' feature coding solutions in database design, algorithms, and code structure before implementation
• Review and approve code commits to maintain code quality standards
• Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of web and mobile applications
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, then devise and implement solutions
• Collaborate with the product team and developers to build new features with scalability in mind
• Translate user and business needs into functional frontend code
• Mentor team members to improve their performance and technical skills
• Review code and provide constructive feedback to maintain a high-quality codebase
• Stay motivated to explore and leverage new technologies for the team

What you bring

• 5+ years of backend and frontend software development experience in tech startups
• 2+ years of blockchain smart contract development on BSC and Ethereum using tools like Truffle
• 2+ years of engineering team management experience
• 2+ years of DevOps experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud
• Hands-on smart contract development across multiple products
• Strong working experience with JavaScript, RESTful APIs, and related technologies
• Strong working experience with the MERN stack (MongoDB/MySQL, ExpressJS, NodeJS, ReactJS)
• A demonstrable portfolio of projects in the technologies listed above
• Hands-on skills in project management, architecture, and development
• Ability to design, code, test, deploy, and maintain APIs, services, and systems
• Solid knowledge and experience with OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns
• Experience with standard software quality practices
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Familiarity with CI/CD technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with unit testing, integration test automation, and deployment automation

Nice to have

• Experience with agile methodologies, especially Scrum
• Ability to balance discovery phases with implementation work
• Experience explaining architecture and problems to the team through verbal communication and written documentation
• Passion for software development, scalable architecture, and product building
