Business Development Manager $6k-$8k (crypto)

As a Business Development Manager for Bullbit PERP DEX, you own and grow trading volume from the Korean market through Introducing Brokers (IBs), high-net-worth traders, and Korean-language trading communities. This is a senior, ownership-level role as the first Korea hire, meaning you decide how Bullbit does business in the market. You bring existing traction: an activatable book of Korean traders, IBs, or community leaders, not a network built from zero.

What you'll do

• Recruit, onboard, and manage a portfolio of Korean IBs and affiliates, structuring commission and revenue-share deals that are fee-positive for the platform.
• Personally onboard Korean high-net-worth traders and whales, negotiating VIP terms, fee tiers, and rebates.
• Build relationships with Korean trading communities and signal groups across KakaoTalk, Telegram, Discord, Naver Cafe, Band, YouTube trading channels, and copy-trade groups, turning community leaders into de facto IBs who drive recurring group volume.
• Own market-level KPIs including trading volume, open interest, maker/taker fee mix, VIP tier structure, referral and rebate economics, and partner retention, using these metrics to drive partnership decisions.
• Structure and negotiate a range of deal types such as revenue-share, fixed rebate, hybrid, token-based, and milestone-linked arrangements, managing the full partner lifecycle from outreach to long-term retention.
• Build and manage the Korea partner pipeline with clear funnel stages, tracking, and weekly reporting, setting targets for future Korea BD hires.
• Act as the voice of the Korean market inside the company, feeding back product gaps such as localization, support hours, payment and deposit flow, and trading pairs to Product, while working with Marketing and Finance on referral programs, trading competitions, and IB incentives.
• Represent Bullbit at Korean industry events, meetups, and community AMAs as needed.
• Operate within Bullbit's compliance guidelines for Korea, understanding local rules on marketing offshore platforms and flagging risk before committing to any partner deal or promotion.

What you bring

• Native or near-native Korean (written and spoken) and professional English; you run partner conversations in Korean and report internally in English.
• 3+ years of business development or growth experience in crypto exchanges, perpetual DEXs, forex, or CFD brokerage, specifically in IB, affiliate, or volume-growth functions.
• A demonstrable track record: you can point to specific IBs recruited, traders onboarded, or volume you directly drove at a previous platform.
• An existing network of real, activatable contacts among Korean traders, IBs, KOLs, or trading communities; you can name them and describe their size and activity.
• Working fluency in exchange economics: maker/taker fees, rebate structures, VIP tiering, and volume-based incentive design; you know what Korean partners currently get on competing offshore exchanges.
• Strong negotiation instincts and comfort structuring milestone-based deals and walking away from bad terms.
• Working knowledge of the Korean regulatory environment for crypto marketing and offshore platforms, and the judgment to stay on the right side of it.
• Experience managing or mentoring a small team, or clear readiness to do so.
• Availability aligned with KST business hours and ability to be responsive to partners on KakaoTalk and Telegram.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with perpetual DEXs or derivatives products.
• Existing relationships with Korean market makers, liquidity providers, or trading desks.
• End-to-end IB program experience covering recruitment, compensation design, and performance tracking.
• Familiarity with Base or other EVM ecosystems.
• Mandarin or Japanese.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of $6,000-$8,000 per month, depending on experience and verified network strength; negotiable for strong candidates.
• Performance incentives on top of base salary: commission and revenue-share on volume driven through your IB network and onboarded traders and communities.
