Business Development Manager (Crypto, Japan Market)

A global exchange is expanding into the Japan market and is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead KOL and copy trader partnerships. You will identify top influencers, negotiate cooperation agreements, and build a portfolio of affiliates that drive user acquisition and revenue for the company.

What you'll do

• Find and select top KOLs and copy traders through data analysis, personal connections, and participation in offline workshops and conferences; negotiate cooperation deals to bring in high-value affiliates
• Design and implement cooperation models that support company branding, promotion, user acquisition, and revenue growth
• Maintain strong relationships with KOLs to develop deep, long-term affiliate partnerships
• Optimise cooperation proposals based on results to ensure high ROI for each partnership

What you bring

• Fluency in Japanese
• At least one year of experience in business development or KOL operations at a financial trading platform
• Familiarity with the blockchain industry and solid business development experience
• Professional knowledge of different KOL cooperation models and their ROI metrics, with strong negotiation skills
• Ability to identify and bring top-tier and secondary KOLs to the company
• Honesty, motivation, ambition, and accountability for partnership ROI

Nice to have

• Existing KOL resources and connections in the Japan market
• Prior work experience at Binance, Bybit, FTX, Coinbase, Bitget, or OKX
