Business Development Manager (Crypto Mining Equipment, Energy, Digital Infrastructure)

As a Business Development Manager at Bitdeer Technologies Group, you oversee client relationships and drive growth within cryptocurrency mining, energy, and digital infrastructure sectors. You manage key accounts, identify new business opportunities, and serve as the primary point of contact for clients including institutions, mining companies, and individuals, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters
• Identify opportunities for new business within existing accounts and onboard new clients
• Oversee mining operations projects, coordinating with technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Monitor client account performance, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to stakeholders
• Stay updated on trends in crypto mining, blockchain technology, and competitor activities to offer strategic advice
• Address client concerns promptly and implement improvements to enhance satisfaction and retention rates

What you bring

• B2B sales or business development experience with the ability to independently originate customers and projects
• Experience in equipment sales, particularly mining machines, power equipment, data center infrastructure, or other technical products
• Ability to develop and close direct miner sales opportunities and identify broader co-mining, hosting, data center, and site partnership opportunities
• Strong commercial awareness of energy, power, data centers, or industrial infrastructure, with a basic understanding of power pricing, grid interconnection, substations, power capacity, and project development timelines
• Strong commercial analysis and project execution capabilities
• Strong ownership, execution, and the ability to independently represent the company with customers and partners

Nice to have

• Experience with power developers, IPPs, utilities, natural gas, data centers, EPC companies, electrical equipment, or Bitcoin mining
• Ability to develop local customers, power resources, sites, and strategic partners in Canada from the ground up
• Bitcoin industry experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
