Community Lead - Kraken Pro

As a Community Lead for Kraken Pro, you build and grow community among serious traders who demand tight spreads, deep books, and an API that actually works. You're not a brand account with a person behind it, but a trader's trader who is exceptionally good at building community. You belong in that room.

What you'll do

• Live in the trenches across Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, and other spaces where traders gather. You participate with standing, not just monitor channels.
• Be the fastest voice in the room, posting with speed and accuracy when market events happen, chain halts occur, or listings drop, before screenshots start circulating.
• Build an ambassador and power-user program around market makers, quant desks, and high-volume traders who will tell you the truth about the product and amplify it to their networks.
• Own public-facing events and formats: AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, competitions, and post-mortems when things go wrong.
• Close the loop between community and Product. You're the first to hear when something breaks, you get it to the PM with evidence, and you report back to the community on what happened.
• Write things people screenshot: threads on market microstructure, teardowns of new features, and release notes that read like prose instead of templates.
• Measure and report on what worked: sentiment, share of voice, community-sourced signups, and retention of high-value accounts.

What you bring

• You trade. Actual positions, actual experience. You can discuss funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage, and latency fluently.
• 3+ years running community or social for a product with a technical, skeptical audience. Crypto, fintech, gaming, or developer tools all count.
• You write fast and well. Your short-form lands, your long-form holds up under scrutiny from knowledgeable readers.
• You have thick skin and good instincts for crypto community management, where you're accountable to an audience watching. You de-escalate without going corporate and you know when to push back.
• You've built something from a standing start, not just maintained an existing account.
• You operate without a brief. You know where the line is and you don't need a committee to find it.
• You're comfortable with the ambiguity of a company that ships constantly and reorganizes around opportunity.
