Community Lead - Kraken Pro

As Community Lead for Kraken Pro, you'll build and grow the community around the platform where serious traders work. You're not managing a brand account, but becoming a trusted participant in the rooms where traders actually gather: Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, and the group chats at 3am. You belong in that room because you trade yourself and you're exceptionally good at building community around technical, opinionated audiences.

What you'll do

• Participate actively across Discord, Telegram, X, TradingView, Reddit, and other channels where Kraken Pro traders congregate, posting with speed and accuracy when markets move or product changes ship
• Build and run an ambassador and power-user program focused on market makers, quant desks, and high-volume traders who provide product feedback and drive retention
• Own community events and formats in public: AMAs, live trading sessions, feature launches, competitions, and post-mortems when things go wrong
• Close the loop between community and Product by gathering detailed feedback on issues, escalating with evidence to PMs, and reporting back to the community on outcomes
• Create content that traders screenshot: threads on microstructure, feature teardowns, and release notes that read like they were written by someone who trades
• Measure and report on community health using sentiment, share of voice, community-sourced signups, and retention metrics for high-value accounts

What you bring

• Active trading experience with real positions and hands-on knowledge of funding rates, maker/taker economics, slippage, and latency
• 3+ years running community or social for a technical, skeptical audience in crypto, fintech, gaming, or developer tools
• Strong writing ability across both short-form content that lands and long-form analysis that holds up under scrutiny
• Ability to de-escalate conflict in public settings without going corporate, combined with good judgment about when to push back
• Experience building community from a standing start, not just maintaining an existing account or channel
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and without extensive approval chains, while knowing where the line is without needing a committee to find it
• Resilience working at a company that ships constantly and reorganizes around opportunity
