Community Operations Manager

As Community Operations Manager at edgeX Exchange, you will build and manage active Korean trading communities across Telegram, X, Discord, KakaoTalk, and Naver Cafe. You'll create market and product content grounded in your own trading experience, act as a trusted local bridge between edgeX and Korean traders, and support regional operations through daily community work, content localization, and event execution.

What you'll do

• Manage daily operations across Korean channels including Telegram, X, Discord, KakaoTalk, and Naver Cafe, keeping conversations active, professional, and aligned with local market sentiment
• Adapt product updates, campaigns, and announcements into natural Korean, and create original market observations, trading-mechanism explainers, risk education, and product tutorials based on your own trading knowledge
• Plan and execute AMAs, livestreams, trading discussions, community campaigns, user challenges, and offline events to drive meaningful product participation
• Build and maintain relationships with active traders, core users, moderators, KOCs, and community contributors, coordinating day-to-day content and events with KOLs while the BD team handles commercial negotiations
• Monitor community sentiment, identify recurring needs and issues, and route feedback to operations, product, and customer support teams
• Track community growth, engagement metrics, content performance, and event participation, adjusting topics and content rhythm based on data

What you bring

• Professional working proficiency in Korean with the ability to independently write original content, host events, and handle complex community conversations
• Working proficiency in Chinese or English
• 3+ years of experience in community, content, or user operations, including at least 2 years at a digital asset trading platform
• Active trading experience with a strong understanding of perpetual contracts, leverage, margin, liquidation mechanics, and the ability to explain market movements and risk in accessible language
• Hands-on track record managing local communities, producing original trading content, and executing online campaigns, supported by concrete examples of community growth, engagement, or campaign results
• Strong Korean writing and localization skills with the ability to respond quickly to local market and community developments
• Comfort working with KOLs, KOCs, community partners, and event organizers, including support for offline event preparation and execution
• Proactive and reliable, comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a remote, fast-moving environment

Nice to have

• Prior experience at platforms such as Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, BingX, MEXC, or Gate
• An established personal social media account with consistent trading-related content, an authentic Korean trading audience, and healthy engagement
• Regular use of edgeX or another Perp DEX
• Existing relationships with Korean trading KOLs, KOCs, communities, media, or event organizers
• Experience building or managing moderator, ambassador, or contributor programs
• Ability to host livestreams or create short-form video, basic visuals, or event materials
