Crypto Senior Developer (CONTRACT)

Wipro is seeking a Crypto Senior Developer to design, develop, and maintain end-to-end crypto and blockchain-based products. Based in Warsaw and working hybrid (1-3 days from client office), you will join a team of over 900 employees in Poland supporting 45+ clients across consulting, design, engineering, and emerging technologies.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end crypto and blockchain-based products, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance
• Build and manage scalable distributed systems, including APIs, orchestration layers, and third-party integrations
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and high-availability solutions to ensure system reliability and uptime
• Contribute across the full Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Develop and optimize smart contracts and blockchain solutions using Solidity, EVM technologies, and related frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering) to deliver seamless and user-centric solutions
• Ensure compliance with security standards, financial regulations, and best practices in payments and crypto ecosystems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems to improve efficiency and performance
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and support architectural decision-making
• Continuously explore and adopt new technologies to solve complex business and technical challenges

What you bring

• 12+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 8+ years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's or MBA)
• Strong hands-on backend development experience, preferably in Java, and the ability to build high-performing distributed systems
• Proven experience designing APIs, microservices architecture, and integrating with third-party systems
• Strong knowledge of Secure SDLC practices, including version control, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, and performance testing
• Solid understanding of blockchain technologies (public and permissioned), including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Hyperledger, and DeFi applications
• Experience with smart contract development using Solidity and familiarity with EVM and low-level programming concepts (e.g., Assembly)
• Knowledge of payment systems, financial services compliance, and payment processing workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend technologies, including AngularJS or similar frameworks
• Full-stack development experience
