Crypto Wallet Operations Specialist

As a Crypto Wallet Operations Specialist at Cumberland (a division of DRW), you support the day-to-day operations of the cryptoasset trading business. You work closely with internal teams and external counterparties and exchanges to manage daily workflows and refine operational procedures. This role operates on US hours and is ideally based in the Cayman Islands, though we can assist with relocation. For candidates with certain backgrounds, we may consider London and Amsterdam.

What you'll do

• Facilitate cryptocurrency transactions between exchanges
• Manage treasury and inventory of cryptoassets
• Monitor pending settlements and liaise with counterparties and exchanges to reduce settlement risk
• Work with back-office teams to perform comprehensive reconciliation activities
• Collaborate with the trading team on operational priorities
• Respond promptly and accurately to internal and external requests
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions proactively
• Use Excel, VBA, or other programming skills to automate processes and analyse large datasets
• Provide additional administrative support to the team as needed

What you bring

• Previous experience transacting cryptocurrency
• Strong understanding of various blockchains and ability to read block explorers
• Familiarity with centralized exchanges
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Traditional finance or crypto trading knowledge
• Ability to work a variable schedule that overlaps with North America hours

Nice to have

• Experience with DeFi protocols
• Python or other scripting language experience such as Excel or VBA
