DevOps (Blockchain Gaming)

As a DevOps engineer at K-GROUP, you shape the infrastructure supporting KBG Blockchain Game Studios' gaming and marketplace products. You work alongside senior engineers in a small, collaborative team to design, build, and maintain the operational backbone that powers both the development team and end-users. Your focus is on security, reliability, and scalability across our blockchain gaming ecosystem, including the Runnow.io move-and-earn platform.

What you'll do

• Work closely with stakeholders across the company to provide services that enhance the user experience for the development team and end-users
• Design and build operational infrastructure to support games and marketplace products
• Spearhead company-wide security culture and architecture to keep the platform secure
• Own delivery, scalability, and reliability of the backend infrastructure
• Advise and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure safe, secure, and reliable products

What you bring

• 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or SRE role
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS beyond basic features
• Proven ability to design and implement highly available, reliable, and scalable systems
• Strong experience with Linux, Docker, and cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
• Proficiency with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Redis, and Jenkins
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience building robust monitoring and alerting systems

Nice to have

• Experience tuning hosted SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
• Experience working in high-security environments, with fintech background a plus
• Strong documentation skills
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Experience with game development
• Proficiency with C++
• Proficiency with TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with game server hosting
