Equity Trader

As an Equity Trader at DRW, you help identify, evaluate and execute trading opportunities, manage risk and develop ideas across equities and derivatives. You join a diversified trading firm operating in markets around the world with over 3 decades of experience. Your precise remit will reflect your strengths and evolve as you build experience.

What you'll do

• Analyse market moves, positioning and catalysts to generate trading ideas
• Execute trades and manage positions within agreed risk limits
• Monitor exposures, performance and changing market conditions
• Develop tools and research to improve trading decisions
• Work closely with the team to learn new products and strategies

What you bring

• Fewer than five years of professional trading experience at a bank, market maker or buy-side firm
• Background in at least one relevant trading area such as single-stock volatility, Delta One or dividend trading, index volatility, exotic derivatives, dispersion strategies, event-driven or special situations strategies, or index rebalancing
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Sound risk judgement and a disciplined approach to trading
• Curiosity about markets and willingness to learn beyond your current specialism
• Ability to make clear decisions under pressure
• Ownership of your work and ability to collaborate effectively

Nice to have

• Coding or data-analysis skills
