Overseas BD Leader

As an Overseas BD Leader at Bitbase Exchange, you build and lead the business development strategy for our Futures trading business across regions. You own market penetration, channel partnerships, team building, and competitive positioning to drive trading volume, user acquisition, and regional profitability in Chinese-speaking and international markets.

What you'll do

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans for Futures trading, including aggressive market penetration strategies aligned with different growth stages.
• Take full ownership of regional performance metrics including trading volume, new active traders, and regional profitability.
• Identify, engage, and establish long-term revenue-sharing partnerships with leading and mid-tier crypto KOLs, YouTubers, Twitter influencers, and community leaders.
• Build and manage the Futures affiliate and broker ecosystem, recruiting external partners and trading communities while optimizing partnership models for maximum channel performance.
• Leverage industry resources and networks to acquire high-value individual clients (VIP users) and drive continuous Futures trading growth.
• Maintain strong business relationships with external partners and key stakeholders, working collaboratively based on platform incentive structures and growth strategies.
• Build and lead the regional BD team, including recruitment, performance management, KPI setting, coaching, and continuous improvement to establish a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to strengthen brand awareness and user trust within Chinese-speaking communities.
• Participate in and coordinate industry activities including AMA sessions, Twitter Spaces, offline meetups, and community engagement campaigns.
• Monitor competitors' business strategies, market movements, and partnership models.
• Collect user feedback on Futures products such as trading depth and liquidity, fee structures, and trading mechanisms, then provide actionable insights to Product and R&D teams to improve product competitiveness and user experience.

What you bring

• 3+ years of Business Development experience in cryptocurrency exchanges (CEX), with proven experience in Futures derivatives business growth.
• Strong understanding of crypto market trends, industry developments, and user behavior.
• Proven ability to identify, evaluate, and develop channel resources, converting partnerships into measurable business results such as trading volume and fee revenue.
• Deep understanding of Futures trading growth strategies and user psychology.
• Familiarity with derivatives trading products, trading mechanisms, and professional trading concepts.
• Experience with affiliate, referral, and rebate systems plus strong business negotiation skills.
• Strong business development capability, team management skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
