Most design roles in crypto pay between $115k and $223k, with a median of $180k.

As an Event Design Coordinator at Tether, you manage the intake, production, and quality assurance of event-related creative requests across the business. You are a builder and gatekeeper who works hand-in-hand with designers to transform varied, often fast-turnaround requests into flawless deliverables-booth graphics, signage, decks, digital assets, swag, and invites-while proactively spotting risks in timeline, brand, print specification, or logistics before they become problems.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related creative requests from teams across Tether, scoping each request clearly on deliverable type, format, quantity, deadline, dimensions, venue and vendor constraints, and brand requirements.
  • Flag conflicting timelines, unrealistic turnarounds, or missing information immediately and propose a workable plan rather than waiting to be asked.
  • Brief designers with complete, unambiguous specifications so work is right the first time.
  • Manage multiple concurrent event workstreams across different teams and deadlines without losing track of details.
  • Track status across all active requests and proactively surface bottlenecks before they affect the event date.
  • Review every designer deliverable before it goes back to the requesting team, checking brand consistency, copy accuracy, resolution, color mode (CMYK vs. RGB), bleed and trim and safe zones, file formats, and platform-specific specs such as booth panel dimensions, social crop ratios, and slide aspect ratios.
  • Catch errors that would be costly or embarrassing to fix on-site or post-launch, including typos, wrong sizing, low-resolution exports, broken links, and outdated logos.
  • Maintain and evolve a QA checklist and process that scales across event types and gets sharper over time.
  • Document and file all assets, briefs, and final deliverables for each event in a shared drive using a clear, consistent structure.
  • Organize files so the wider team can easily find past work, reuse assets, and cross-reference specifications, timelines, or creative direction from previous events.
  • Keep a running record of vendor details, production specifications, and lessons learned per event to speed up planning for future ones.
  • Anticipate what can go wrong, such as vendor lead times, print production windows, last-minute scope changes, and shipping delays, and build buffer and contingency plans into every project timeline.
  • Coordinate with vendors and print and production partners as needed to confirm specifications and delivery windows.
  • Keep stakeholders across requesting teams and design aligned with clear, proactive status updates rather than reactive fire drills.
  • Act as a trusted liaison between business requesters and the design team, protecting designers' time from ambiguous briefs while protecting requesters from missed deadlines.
  • Continuously improve the intake and review process based on what goes wrong or almost goes wrong on each event.

What you bring

  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of both the creative process and the operational realities of live events.
  • The ability to catch misaligned bleed lines, missing dielines, and vendor deadlines that are about to slip, and fix them before anyone else notices.
