Fullstack JS-Blockchain

As a Fullstack JavaScript-Blockchain Engineer at Zinza Technology, you design, develop, and maintain blockchain applications for clients in the US and Europe. You work across the full stack, from smart contracts to frontend integration, delivering solutions that bridge Web3 and traditional backend infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Research solutions, analyse requirements, design and implement blockchain applications for clients
• Develop frontend applications using ReactJS or NextJS, integrating with smart contracts and backend APIs
• Design and build backend APIs and indexers
• Code and test smart contracts in Solidity on Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains
• Work directly with project managers and client teams to propose technical solutions and resolve development challenges
• Participate in estimation and planning for new projects

What you bring

• A degree in IT or related field
• At least 3 years of web development experience
• Proficiency in ReactJS, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript with at least 1 year of production project work
• At least 1 year of experience with Express or NestJS
• At least 1 year of experience coding and testing smart contracts in Solidity or Rust on Ethereum or EVM-compatible chains
• Solid understanding of blockchain fundamentals including gas fees, transactions, and ABI
• Proficiency deploying smart contracts to testnets and mainnets such as Goerli, Sepolia, and BNB Testnet
• Proficiency with Docker and docker-compose, and the ability to set up servers and development environments
• Ability to read and create system designs using UML
• High responsibility and initiative, willingness to learn new technologies

Nice to have

• English language communication skills in a project environment
• Experience with Layer 2 technologies such as Optimism or zkSync, or cross-chain solutions
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
• Shipped real-world blockchain products in DeFi, NFT, or DAO sectors
