Head of Growth, Margin Trading

As Head of Growth for Margin Trading at Kraken, you own growth for margin trading on Kraken Pro, the company's highest single revenue-generating product feature. You report at CEO level, driving acquisition of high-net-worth individual traders, shaping positioning and offers, and partnering with VIP and Product teams to scale this business area.

What you'll do

• Own growth strategy and execution for margin trading, with CEO-level ownership of the business area
• Build and execute strategy to acquire high-net-worth individual traders, including winning them from competing platforms
• Partner closely with the VIP team to shape how high-value traders are sourced, onboarded, and activated
• Mobilize performance marketing, organic, creative design, and other internal teams to drive margin growth as a senior individual contributor
• Define positioning, messaging, and offers for margin trading that resonate with sophisticated, high-volume traders
• Set growth targets and own the funnel from lead to funded account to active margin trader
• Run fast experiments across channels, programs, and incentives, and scale what works
• Bring trader insights back to Product to shape the margin roadmap

What you bring

• 4+ years in growth, product marketing, or VIP/high-value customer acquisition
• Proven track record of acquiring high-net-worth traders or high-value players in crypto, trading, gaming, or gambling
• Experience winning customers away from competitors and converting them into long-term, high-value users
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without formal authority and drive measurable outcomes
• Strong grasp of leveraged and margin trading, and of how high-volume traders make decisions
• Data-driven approach: you own funnel metrics, revenue impact, and ROI on acquisition spend
• High agency and scrappiness, with full ownership, speed of execution, and ability to deliver without waiting for ideal conditions
• Clear communication skills and ability to build alignment across marketing, VIP, product, and leadership

Nice to have

• Existing network among high-net-worth traders, market makers, or VIP communities
• Experience building VIP or whale acquisition programs from scratch
• Background in regulated financial products or iGaming with strict compliance requirements
