HR Specialist (PH)

As an HR Specialist at Coins.ph, you support the talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations for the Philippines' most established crypto brand. Coins serves more than 18 million users and holds both Virtual Currency and Electronic Money Issuer licenses from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, the first crypto-based company in Asia to achieve this regulatory status. You'll work cross-functionally across the organization to improve employee experience and drive organizational effectiveness.

What you'll do

• Partner with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment processes, coordinate interviews, facilitate offers, and ensure smooth onboarding for new hires.
• Conduct comprehensive new hire onboarding sessions and orientation programs, and coordinate with background check vendors for compliant pre-employment screening.
• Maintain and update employee records in HR systems related to recruitment, onboarding, and general HR administration, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
• Act as a point of contact for employee queries on HR policies and procedures, support conflict resolution and grievance handling, and serve as the primary contact for HMO administration.
• Lead or support engagement programs and initiatives to promote morale, inclusion, and team connectivity.
• Collect feedback from surveys and focus groups and drive follow-up actions to improve employee experience.
• Support HR processes including performance management cycles, probation reviews, internal mobility, and contract or role changes.
• Assist in implementing learning and development programs, competency mapping, and team development initiatives.
• Manage employee visa processing and documentation in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare and analyze key HR metrics such as headcount, attrition trends, and engagement survey results to support decision-making.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of HR policies, templates, and processes ensuring compliance with local labor regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen Coins.ph's employer brand, and participate in social media campaigns, campus engagement, HR events, and job fairs to attract top talent.

What you bring

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role, ideally in a fast-paced or multinational environment.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• A high level of cultural awareness, adaptability, and discretion.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time management skills.
• A passion for people, engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with HRIS tools such as BambooHR, Lever, or LinkedIn Sourcing.
