Intern, Banking Operations

As an Intern in Banking Operations at Sygnum Bank, you support a team responsible for client and instrument data management, transaction processing, settlement, clearing, and reconciliation across fiat and digital assets. You report to the Head of Banking Operations Processing and contribute to ensuring optimal customer service, cost efficiency, and risk management in a regulated digital asset banking environment.

What you'll do

• Ensure smooth client settlement of fiat and crypto trades
• Reconcile daily balances and positions, and periodic client staking rewards
• Support and manage daily operations for both fiat and digital asset transactions, including staking, payments and payment investigations, security transfers, and subscription and redemption of funds
• Open and maintain financial products in the core banking system
• Support the implementation and operational handling of new products and services
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement and risk management of financial services operations
• Identify tasks that can be automated or improved via macros, Excel, or similar tools
• Support ad hoc administrative tasks as required
