Junior Portfolio & Market Making Manager (Digital Assets)

Join JellyC as a Junior Portfolio & Market Making Manager in our Perth office. You'll support our portfolio management and market making teams in digital assets, gaining hands-on trading experience across exchanges, OTC desks, and DeFi venues. This is an early-career role designed for a quantitatively strong graduate who wants a clear path into trading.

What you'll do

• Support trade execution across exchanges, OTC desks and DeFi venues within mandates and risk limits
• Monitor prices, liquidity, funding rates, volatility and news, and flag anomalies to the desk
• Help monitor AUDM liquidity, venue connectivity, inventory and risk limits for the market making desk
• Analyse market and on-chain data to support trade ideas, performance attribution and risk reporting
• Build dashboards, screeners and automated reports using Python and AI tools
• Reconcile positions and P&L with the fund administrator, and assist with settlements

What you bring

• A degree in a quantitative field such as data science, computer science, finance, mathematics or engineering
• 0-2 years' experience in trading, research or data analysis (internships and personal projects count)
• Working Python skills including pandas and NumPy, API experience and strong Excel
• Practical experience using LLMs and AI tools
• A solid understanding of crypto spot and derivatives markets, stablecoins and crypto-specific risks
• The ability to work accurately under pressure, with curiosity and clear communication skills
• Full Australian working rights

• Salary of $90,000-$110,000
