KYC Onboarding - Associate

As a KYC Onboarding Associate at B2C2, you facilitate client and counterparty onboarding across the firm's global institutional liquidity business. You coordinate KYC processes, compliance reviews, and client lifecycle management across multiple functions and B2C2 entities in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment.

What you'll do

• Engage clients and counterparties to facilitate KYC onboarding and client lifecycle processes, including initial KYC, periodic reviews, and ad-hoc assessments
• Coordinate client and counterparty KYC onboarding across Front Office, Compliance, AML, Operations, Legal, Risk, and other departments in time-sensitive circumstances
• Assist with ongoing monitoring, banking enquiries, and other KYC-related matters as required
• Ensure all departmental requests are completed within expected timeframes and that client maintenance activities are acted upon promptly
• Review agreements, legal and financial documents, and other paperwork for completeness and accuracy
• Assess and assign risk classifications to incoming clients and counterparties; adjust KYC profiles when business activities expand or change
• Undertake recertifications and renewal of due diligence on existing clients and counterparties to identify changes in risk profile, including reputational and operational risk factors
• Participate in design and testing of enhancements to client due diligence, onboarding databases, reports, and systems
• Support management in tactical and strategic initiatives regarding onboarding applications and other systems
• Work closely with Sales, Compliance, Legal, and other teams to render policies and procedures more transparent and effective while preserving risk control strength

• An appreciation for due diligence operations and onboarding applications and systems
• Strong interpersonal skills with effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively with management, Front Office, Sales, Compliance, Legal, and Audit teams
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask while maintaining composure in a high-pressure environment
• High competency in research, analysis, and the use of external due-diligence tools
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to take direction and act quickly
• A balanced perspective that blends compliance rigor with commercial pragmatism in an environment where revenue growth and risk control are both paramount
• High competency in Google products suite and interest in AI technology enhancements
