Odos - Solana Smart Contracts Engineer

As a Solana Smart Contracts Engineer at Odos, you'll help build and operate distributed, low-latency services that power our Solana DEX Aggregator. You'll work with a small, focused team deploying on Kubernetes and AWS, using Rust, Anchor, and Yellowstone Geyser to interface directly with the Solana blockchain.

What you'll do

• Design and implement high-performance distributed services in Rust, deployed on AWS and Kubernetes, that interface directly with the Solana blockchain and Odos' aggregation engine
• Design, test, and deploy on-chain programs using the Anchor framework
• Build systems that consume and process Solana ledger data through Yellowstone Geyser plugins to enable real-time event and state tracking
• Develop low-latency data pipelines that capture and process Solana transaction and account data in real time, using Redis as the primary datastore
• Contribute to core routing, liquidity discovery, and execution logic that powers Odos' Solana DEX Aggregator
• Participate in system design, observability, and CI/CD workflows within a Kubernetes and AWS environment

What you bring

• 5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Solana smart contract development
• Proficiency in Rust with deep knowledge of Solana's smart contract architecture, including the Anchor framework
• Experience in cross-chain solutions with familiarity of EVM and non-EVM architectures
• A strong understanding of Solana's DeFi ecosystem and its applications
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for blockchain innovation

Nice to have

• A background in TradeFi
• Previous work in DeFi or other crypto protocols
• Experience with Web3-specific libraries and blockchain data APIs
