Onboarding - KYC Onboarding - Senior Associate

As a Senior Associate in Onboarding/KYC at B2C2, you facilitate client and counterparty KYC and onboarding processes across a global institutional liquidity business. You coordinate complex onboarding workflows across multiple internal functions and entities in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

What you'll do

• Engage clients and counterparties to facilitate KYC/onboarding and client lifecycle processes, including initial KYC, periodic reviews, and ad-hoc assessments
• Coordinate client and counterparty KYC onboarding across multiple functions and B2C2 entities including Front Office, Compliance, AML, Operations, Legal, and Risk
• Assist in ongoing monitoring, banking enquiries, and other KYC-related matters as required
• Ensure all departmental requests are completed within expected timeframes and client maintenance activities are acted upon promptly
• Review agreements, legal and financial documents, and other paperwork for completeness and accuracy
• Assess and assign risk classifications to incoming clients and counterparties, adjusting KYC profiles when business activities expand or change
• Undertake recertifications and renewal of due diligence on existing clients and counterparties to identify changes in risk profile, including reputational and operational risk factors
• Participate in design and testing of enhancements to client due diligence, onboarding databases, reports, and systems
• Support management in tactical and strategic initiatives regarding onboarding applications and other systems
• Work closely with Sales, Compliance, Legal and other teams to make policies and procedures more transparent and effective while preserving risk control

• Appreciation for due diligence operations and onboarding applications and systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively with management, Front Office, Sales, Compliance, Legal, and Audit
• Strong organisational skills, ability to multitask, and composure in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
• Understanding of US PATRIOT Act, BSA/AML requirements (including CIP, CDD/EDD distinctions), Dodd-Frank, 5MLD, MLR 2017, and MLR 2019
• High competency in research and analysis, and in using external due diligence tools
• Self-starter mentality, ability to take direction and act quickly
• Balance of compliance and commercial pragmatism in an environment where both revenue growth and risk control are priorities
• High competency with Google products suite and interest in AI technology enhancement
