Onboarding - Onboarding Associate

As an Onboarding Associate at B2C2, you facilitate client and counterparty KYC onboarding and lifecycle management across the organization. You coordinate compliance processes across multiple functions including Front Office, Compliance, AML, Operations, Legal, and Risk in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment. What you'll do

• Engage clients and counterparties to facilitate KYC onboarding and lifecycle processes, including initial KYC reviews, periodic reviews, and ad-hoc reviews
• Coordinate client and counterparty KYC onboarding across multiple functions and B2C2 entities, including Front Office, Compliance, AML, Operations, Legal, and Risk
• Assist in ongoing monitoring, banking enquiries, and other KYC-related matters as required
• Ensure all departmental requests are completed within expected timeframes and that client maintenance activities are acted upon promptly
• Review agreements, legal and financial documents, and other paperwork for completeness and accuracy
• Assess and assign risk classifications to incoming clients and counterparties, and adjust KYC profiles based on changes in risk factors
• Undertake recertifications and renewal of due diligence on existing clients and counterparties to identify changes in risk profile, including reputational and operational risk factors
• Participate in design and testing of enhancements to client due diligence, onboarding databases, reports, and systems
• Support management in tactical and strategic initiatives regarding onboarding applications and other systems
• Work closely with Sales, Compliance, Legal, and other teams to ensure policies and procedures are transparent and effective while maintaining risk control strength

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to engage effectively with management, Front Office, Sales, Compliance, Legal, and Audit teams
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask while maintaining composure in high-pressure environments
• High competency in research, analysis, and using external due diligence tools
• Energy and self-starter mentality with the ability to take direction and act quickly
• Balance of compliance focus and commercial pragmatism in an environment where revenue growth and risk control are both priorities
• High competency in Google products suite and interest in AI technology enhancement
