Operations Manager

As Operations Manager at TOKEN2049, you will manage end-to-end event operations for TOKEN2049 and SuperAI, overseeing ticketing, payments, registration, exhibitor and vendor management, and on-site execution. You will build a world-class event operations roadmap while ensuring every attendee finds what they need and remains engaged both digitally and in person, with attention to detail across all touchpoints.

What you'll do

• Create and oversee a world-class event operations roadmap to bring TOKEN2049 to the next level
• Recruit, mentor, and manage junior operations executives
• Manage ticket sales, inventory, and customer support across all channels
• Oversee end-to-end event execution, ensuring all logistical elements are seamlessly coordinated
• Develop and implement new systems to enhance the operations process
• Manage online and on-site attendee registration before and during the event
• Analyze event data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations
• Manage the Community Team, ensuring inbound and outbound inquiries are handled promptly
• Manage the TOKEN2049 Help Desk, providing world-class end-to-end customer service
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues and manage changes during planning and execution phases
• Manage event staff, volunteers, and subcontractors on-site
• Troubleshoot issues that arise during the event and make timely decisions to maintain success

What you bring

• 10 years of experience managing event operations and ticket management for large-scale global events
• Demonstrated experience planning and implementing new systems or initiatives to enhance operational processes
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and resilience under pressure
• Solid project management skills to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and self-starter mindset
• Fluency in written and spoken English
