Partner 18, Marketing Operations Partner

As a Marketing Operations Partner at a16z crypto, you support the execution and scale of marketing initiatives across the firm's portfolio. Working closely with the Events and Marketing teams, you use Marketo and other marketing technology platforms to build, launch, and optimize email and event campaigns. You help establish best practices, improve workflows, and build the processes and systems needed to deliver high-quality campaigns efficiently and at scale.

What you'll do

• Serve as the dedicated Marketo execution expert for high-volume event and email marketing campaign execution across vertical teams
• Handle multiple priorities with tight timelines to deliver end-to-end email and event campaign production, including list segmentation, setup, testing, execution, and optimization in Marketo
• Build cross-functional relationships across internal and external partners to identify and create efficiencies in current marketing processes
• Manage marketing projects and campaigns in ClickUp to ensure timelines are met and programs execute successfully
• Own and evolve the cross-vertical event calendar and communicate updates regularly
• Maintain database health to ensure deliverability and accurate reporting
• Partner with New Media leaders to develop reporting and analytics, from the data you gather to how you deliver insights

What you bring

• Hands-on expertise in Marketo administration, with Marketo certification greatly preferred
• Working knowledge of SFDC for campaign setup, triggers, and lead and contact management
• 3 to 5 years of B2B marketing operations execution experience
• Ability to read and utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript templates
• Low ego, high empathy, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

• Experience using Data Management tools and Survey tools

What we offer

• Salary range of $168,000 to $196,000, with actual starting pay varying based on experience, skills, and scope
