Product Designer

As a Product Designer at Jito Foundation, you'll focus primarily on JTX, our self-custodial trading app built on the fastest market infrastructure on Solana. You'll design across web and native mobile for a small team that has already found product-market fit. Your main challenge is making JTX feel clear and trustworthy at a glance, helping traders read a screen under pressure and execute with speed.

What you'll do

• Design for JTX across web and mobile, including order entry, market data, charts, positions, execution visibility, onboarding, and wallet flows
• Take features from problem definition through UX and final UI
• Own and improve the design system and token library that engineers use
• Help with marketing design when needed, including landing pages, social assets, and launch materials
• Support design work on other Jito products when the team needs extra help
• Release features, observe real usage, and keep improving based on user feedback

What you bring

• Strong product sense: you can explain why a design decision is right, not just that it looks good
• Ability to spot issues with hierarchy and clarity on a busy screen and explain what's causing them
• Comfort working across research, UX, and UI as an early-stage product designer
• Ability to work independently and bring the team in on important decisions without seeking approval for every choice
• True collaboration skills with proactive communication and strong working relationships with engineering and product
• Comfort giving direct, specific feedback on others' work and receiving critique on your own
• Fluency in Figma and comfort working directly with token-based design systems

Nice to have

• Experience designing consumer (B2C) crypto or fintech products, or hands-on experience as a trader
• Experience with trading terminals, exchange, or brokerage products
• Consumer fintech apps at scale
• Data-dense or real-time interfaces such as dashboards, analytics, or live data visualization
• Experience with self-custodial wallets, Solana, or EVM products
• Experience building or maintaining a token-based design system
