Product Director, Localisation & AI Evals

As Product Director for Localisation & AI Evals at OKX, you own two critical initiatives: rebuilding the translation and quality-evaluation pipeline around large language models, and building an AI-assisted localisation monitoring and remediation system. OKX is a leading crypto exchange serving millions of users and hundreds of institutions globally, with heavy investment in localisation across European markets. You will be accountable for the business outcomes of localisation quality.

What you'll do

• Deploy LLMs to handle translation and quality evaluation at scale, concentrating human effort on setting standards and making final calls
• Maintain translation quality stability while expanding coverage substantially, so cost no longer grows linearly with languages, content and releases
• Ensure localisation issues are caught before release, monitored after release, and genuinely verified once fixed
• Protect conversion on key user journeys from language-related damage
• Drive a sustained reduction in severe production issues and recurring issues
• Make localisation quality a shared responsibility across product, design, engineering, content and compliance teams, rather than siloed within the language team
• Turn every issue found into a preventive capability in the system

What you bring

• A strong track record of cross-functional influence, getting other teams to accept constraints or change their process without direct reporting authority
• Proven accountability for business outcomes, measured on business metrics rather than delivery volume
• Sound judgement on AI and LLM products, with ability to discern what should be handed to a model and what must stay with a human (no algorithms background required)
• Experience building quality systems or release gates
• International product experience serving users across multiple languages and regions

Nice to have

• QA or test-infrastructure background
• Experience building a team and its processes from scratch
• Hands-on experience shipping LLM applications
• Experience in finance, payments or another highly regulated industry
