You assess and coach clients' technology teams, define Blockchain implementation strategies and architecture solutions, and apply your technical expertise to help leading organizations tackle their toughest challenges. As you gain experience, you own delivery for specific project modules and develop technical concepts that turn business ambition into execution.
What you'll do
- Design and select Blockchain architectures that align with business goals, meet stakeholder needs, and perform effectively within defined constraints
- Define integration architectures that connect applications, participant organizations, and member nodes within a Blockchain network
- Communicate complex architectural concepts through clear, compelling storytelling to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Review vendor proposals and ongoing technical work to ensure quality, alignment, and feasibility
- Oversee technology project management activities and maintain rigorous quality assurance standards
- Optimise application development processes within your projects to improve efficiency and scalability
- Build and nurture a strong community around Blockchain initiatives
- Advise internal teams on core Blockchain concepts, technologies, and frameworks
- Collaborate with fellow architects on Blockchain and related technical domains to drive cross-functional excellence
- Support Blockchain consulting teams in developing best practices, frameworks, and implementation guidelines
- Expand and leverage your network within the BCG technical community to deliver greater value for clients
What you bring
- At least 3 years of experience in Blockchain, Crypto, DeFi, or the Metaverse
- A strong understanding of Blockchain fundamentals, including smart contracts and consensus algorithms
- Familiarity with different Blockchain types: public, private, permissioned, and public permissioned networks
- Hands-on experience with Blockchain frameworks such as Hyperledger Fabric, R3 Corda, and Ethereum (Solidity)
- Understanding of consensus mechanisms used across major Blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Byzantine Fault Tolerant algorithms such as PBFT in Hyperledger Fabric
- Skill in cryptographic principles and the use of certificates for identity management and transaction authentication
- Experience in database architecture and design to build scalable storage solutions for distributed ledgers and related data
- Security architecture expertise to ensure the protection of Blockchain systems and applications
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Go, Java, or Node.js
- An outstanding academic record, ideally from a leading university
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), along with strong presence, leadership, and teamwork abilities
- Fresh technology perspectives from outside the consulting industry to enhance BCG's projects and client engagements
